However, it wasn't called the Glastonbury Festival back then, it went by the name of the Pilton Pop, Blues & Folk Festival. It only became linked to Glastonbury in 1971 when it was renamed the Glastonbury Fayre. With over 40 year's of history, there's more than enough to fill a book with the best Glastonbury live music moments, but here are ten of the most talked about and attention grabbing.

10. Jay-Z headlines the Pyramid Stage in 2008 - When the news of this broke, Liam Gallagher fell upon the music media with massive criticism for a rapper headlining Glastonbury. However, Jay-Z had the last laugh as it turned out when he strolled on stage to massive applause playing an acoustic guitar and singing Wonderwall.

9. U2 pull out of the 2010 festival, paving the way for the Gorillaz - The prospect of seeing U2 didn't seem to bother the Glastonbury ticket buying community in 2010 as the tickets sold out within 24 hours for the 40th Anniversary of the festival. However, they got lucky when Bono's creaky back gave way and they were forced to pull out. Gorillaz were brought in to fill the teary-eyed Edge-size entertainment void.

8. The New Tent gets renamed to the John Peel Tent in 2005 - After the death of John Peel in 2004 the festival renamed The New Tent to the John Peel tent in memory of the new music legacy that he left behind.

7. Radiohead headline the Pyramid Stage in 1997 - Following a year off in 1996 to leave the land and the organisers to go fallow, Glastonbury returned bigger than ever in 1997 with what is reputed to be one of the best Glastonbury performances of all time.

6. Basement Jaxx and Coldplay cover Kylie Minogue's "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" - 2005 saw Kylie Minogue pull out headlining the Sunday night due to the fact that she was diagnosed as having breast cancer and needed to receive treatment. To show their support, both Basement Jaxx and Coldplay performed covers.

5. Marc Bolan and Tyrannosaurus Rex kick start it all - When The Kinks pulled out of the Pilton Pop, Blues & Folk festival of 1970 that started it all, Marc Bolan and Tyrannosaurus Rex stepped in to fill the void with their folk rock vs. glam rock crossover in full swing.

4. New Order headline the newly christened Glastonbury Festival - Putting the Pilton Pop, Blues & Folk festival and the Glastonbury Fayre names behind it, the event finally became the festival and New Order took centre stage on the newly built replacement for the Pyramid stage. £20,000 was raised for the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND).

3. Robbie Williams and Oasis? - Like a bizarre dream, 1995's festival was the beginning of the end for Take That's first incarnation. It's the year that saw Robbie Williams take to the stage with new found, short-lived chums, Oasis. Three weeks afterwards he'd dropped Take That for good.

2. A Beatle headlines Glastonbury - 34 years after its inception, Glastonbury finally got a Beatle to headline. Paul McCartney took to the Pyramid stage on the Saturday of the 2004 festival to a mixed response.

1. Michael Eavis joins Stevie Wonder on stage to sing "Happy Birthday" - What better way to celebrate 40 years of brilliant entertainment than to take to the stage and sing "Happy Birthday" with Stevie Wonder himself.

Music News - The Magazines That Shaped the Music Industry

Music news as we know it today developed out of the early magazines that caught onto the growth of the popular music industry early on in the 20th Century. Melody Maker was one of the first, introducing itself in 1926 (around the same time that the first electric guitars and amplifiers began to emerge) and targeting musicians. However, as music became more and more popular the music magazines of the day began to target the general public and the introduction of new, rival magazines hit the shelves.

The 1950s is when the real battle started with Melody Maker going head to head with the new kids in town, the NME, an amalgamation of previous titles Musical Express and Accordion Weekly by new owner and music promoter Maurice Kinn. Previously more interested in jazz, Melody Maker was a late convert to the advent of rock and roll, but as the sixties swung in favour of bands like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, the ground was set for big readership figures for both publications.

The 1960s also saw the coming of more politicised voices to the publication of music news with the launch of the Berkley Barb in 1965 and Rolling Stone in 1967. Criticism of the Vietnamese war, the publication of Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and the counterculture revolution of the 1960s sat next to The Beatles, Jimmy Hendrix and Jim Morrison cover stories.

This political edge to music publication didn't reach the British music news until the late 1970s with the dawning of the age of punk. However, the early 70s saw the introduction of a new rival, Sounds, which quickly became one of the three music weekly magazines to generate good levels of readership. It's edge came from its ability to see the credibility of new musical movements like Punk early on.

The 1980s would see a mixed bag of journalism in the music industry, with the hip-hop wars affecting the NME and a more populist standpoint reigning at Melody Maker until its intellectual renaissance in 1986. However, it would be the 90s that would see the story of modern British music journalism come to a head. The rise of Britpop and the introduction & success of monthly magazines Q (1986) and Mojo (1993) left Melody Maker without a clear audience or direction, and so in 2000 is ceased publication, merging with its long time rival NME, while Sounds bit the dust nearly a decade earlier in 1991.

The 2000s were left to NME and despite its ropey start to the decade, it would eventually find its footing again with bands like White Stripes, The Strokes and The Libertines. However, with readership dropping fast to just over a tenth of its hey-day 300,000 circulation, publications like NME have pumped significant investment into their online music news to compensate.

With the arrival of a new decade, it's hard to say that any of the remaining music magazines are doing anything particularly trailblazing, but then neither is the music industry as a whole. With the nation locked into the X-Factor culture, genuinely credible new music often finds it difficult to break out of the underground world that it too often resides. The death of Top of the Pops in 2006 meant that the only music to be played on terrestrial television in the UK during prime time viewing was based around one talent contest or another. With circulation figures so low, maybe it's time for the icons of music news to take back what they have spent decades helping to create.

Five Factors to Break Into the Music Industry As an Unsigned Band

I have previously worked as a music journalist for a music magazine, reviewing local gigs, as well as new releases and upcoming talent. For this job, I was based in a small cramped office in Leeds producing a semi-weekly magazine and maintaining an online blog.

Firstly, I should say that Leeds is an absolutely amazing place to work and I found all my time working there very enjoyable; however Leeds is a markedly expensive place to live, as rents are increasing and there is a lack of supply for young professionals.

Listed below are my top tips for breaking into the music industry and becoming successful, without worrying about the age of the band, current popularity in the scene or history of gigs.

5. Sign up to a plethora of online blogs and magazines NME and Kerrang are generally thought of as the best magazines to keep up-to-date with music news; however there are a number of alternative magazines with unique stories in which you can retrieve news and get a lot of information from. Online blogs written and published independently can also provide up-to-date information before any magazine can publish; you should however check that the writer of the blog is using reliable sources. Using this information, you can help to improve your band and increase publicity.

4. Make use of Last.fm to get your music out there and promote your band: Last.fm can become a very powerful tool in band promotion as you can build a band page for free, upload any personally recorded demos and stream them for free, as well as linking to music stores, netting you a small profit. Whilst other social-networking sites allow you to create band pages, using Last.fm is the most generally recognised way to get your band out there.

3. Blog about it: You might think that displaying writing prowess is a waste of time, however it is a highly effective way to boost SEO ratings and publicise your band name. An important determining factor of band popularity is Google and an intelligent SEO strategy can be highly effective - however you should try to write blogs on music news or industry activity instead of personal information, as this will engage the reader more.

2. Pay attention to newsletters, small bands and attend a number of festivals: Whilst not attracting as much popularity as others, small bands are the perfect way of latching onto the potential popularity of the other band and improving yours through osmosis. Support acts will also become easier to obtain within this partnership. It is very helpful to build a localised fanbase in your own region before breaking out. My time in an office in Leeds has given me a lot of access to regional bands and into the future of music.

1. Make friends in the industry Akin to working in a young, small company, a great deal of your prosperity will depend on business relationship and contacts. It can be highly beneficial to attend music industry networking events and speak to professionals within the industry. Even an e-mail address or telephone number can be a highly effective way to breaking through.

Despite a lot of band success simply depending on the quality of your music and the originality present (unless you are spotted by a talent scout), these tips can really help your band.

Power Metal Vocals - Music and Style

One of several top genres in metal music news should be power metal. Using the quickness of today's style of music as well as the traditional way to play fits the power community. Speed metal was really the start of power in America. Using the different styles and alternations of methods, this was something for the music news community to analyze. This style was a calmer and more melodic sounding.

The Structure of the Music

Clean vocals and growling are a common feature in power metal. Often times there are growls or screams that you would also find in black or death metal. Vocals certainly are a big part of what power metal is all about. Michael Kiske (ex-Helloween), Michele Luppi (Vision Divine), Timo Kotipelto (Stratovarius) and Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear) started to push this style to their music.

Most bands that do incorporate this still included a fictional idea or feeling with it. Artists like Symphony X, 3 Inches of Blood, DragonForce and Hammer Fall. Lost Horizon, Helloween and Gamma Ray sang a lot about positive situations.

Technique and Instruments of Power Metal

Bass, drum and guitar are the most familiar elements in power metal. Power usually uses a slower pace for their chord progression than other metal music. The bass sits in the back of the music that is often not heard due to the loudness of the electric guitars.

Drummers will use a dual bass drums or double bass pedal on their sets in their music. You will find a lot of this in heavy metal music. You will hear the double bass "running" or quick beats in between other elements. This style is no different than other type of heavy metal.

This type of music genre has been known to use keyboards inside their music. You can incorporate more elements with a keyboards or include full melodies.

Other Aspects of Metal Music

There isn't many differences of power metal between American and European. More distortion and a higher pitched vocal singer for most of American power metal. To get a taste of it look into Manowar, Savatage and Iced Earth.

European metal put more melody within their music. Folk metal inspirers a lot of metal bands. This is the reason there are more of a melodic feel to their music. Clean vocals and less distortion within their music is a more European type of power metal. This has grown to become one of the most popular genres. For further European bands check out Stratovarius, Helloween and Sonata Arctica.

Rap Beats Online

For many street rappers, finding a good rhyme comes naturally; unfortunately the beat behind it takes a bit more work. In the past, if the rapper didn't have a professional studio they would be out of luck and stuck rapping on his porch without a background beat and going nowhere in their rap career.

Today, with the emergence of the modern internet, it has become possible to buy professionally made rap beats online. If you want your raps to come out with a refined and professional finish then buying a pre-made beat is a perfect solution for the starting rapper.

There are many different types of beats providers across the internet, by going over your own lyrics and experimenting with different samples of online beats, you'll be able to find the perfect beat to download and use for your own devices. Most rap beat providers will allow you to click on and sample a small portion of the beat to ensure you know what you're buying and how useful it may be to your rap lyrics.

The Price of Buying Rap Beats

The genius part of buying online is that the cost is extremely low. Most providers, such as Fattracks, sells their professionally made rap beats for as little as $4.99! In contrast, renting a studio and hiring pro's to work the complicated soundboard can cost into the thousands of dollars. By buying online, the work and price is streamlined to the point that anyone who wants their music to sound like Snoop Dog or Puff Daddy can make their dreams come true and be taken as a serious rapper and producer of great sounds.

If you need a remix, then the online site called GotInstrumentals can be your one stop shop answer for all your background mix-tape desires. This website handles rap remixes of familiar rap beats that have been proven hits throughout pop culture society. The best part about buying original beats, or remixes, is that once it's bought you have full rights to use, burn, and sell the music on your own. You'll have no worries about being at fault for using someone else's beat.

Who Makes the Best Rap Beats

You may be surprised who is behind making the best buy-able online rap beats. They are not no-name nobodies, for example, Young Jeezy makes and sells online rap beats through third party sites all the time. If you want a homemade beat by Jay-Z, the King of Rap, then doing a simple search for Jay-Z online won't disappoint you.

Keep in mind though, these are "choice-cut" rap beats done by the best of the best, and so the cost is reasonably higher. The average price for beats by Jay-Z can cost up to $20.00. That's 5 times the cost of an average rap beat, but when compared to the cost of creating your own in a live studio, then $20.00 is still a great deal.

If you're an aspiring rapper focused on reaching the stars, then buying online beats to bring your game to the next level is the break you may need to get noticed locally and nationally.

Rap Technique

So you want to know how to rap? Are you a beginner trying to put your first rhymes together or are you more advanced? Tired of reading about rap theory and actually want some practical exercises?

A lot of people think that rap is a natural talent; a mystery that cannot be taught. This is not true. While many people have a strong sense of rhythm and timing and others are good with words, these are skills that can be worked on and developed. Even freestyling can be gradually developed; though this is something that people often have a predisposition to. Like with everything in life, with knowledge and practice you can develop and improve. Nobody tries to learn the piano without knowledge and practice; why would rap be any different.

Rap can be seen in Jazz, Rock, Folk, and World music as well as more traditional urban genres such as Grime, Drum and Base and Hip Hop. I have also aimed this at people who already rap, and the information will hopefully increase understanding and ability.

There are some fundamentals of rap, so before you use the links let me break down the key things you need to be able to work on to develop good rap technique.

Timing - to put it simply if you can't count the beat then you can't rap. When you learn to play the music you learn to count 1234 along to the music. This is your basic skill and something you can practice to any track.

Rhyming - most of rap revolves around the ability to rhyme words. While it is not essential and groups such as Public Enemy 'I don't rhyme for the sake of riddling' didn't use rhyme to a large extent, it is still key to the rap sounds.

The ability to listen - listening to other rappers, listening to the track, listening to other types of music, listening is vital. One of the most important exercises you can do is to simply take part in call and response exercises, imitating what rappers do. After all, you don't start composing music on the violin the day you have your firs lesson; you imitate starting off with simple things and then becoming more complex.

Imitation - Another key exercise is to simply write down songs you hear and learn the raps, rapping along with the rapper. if you can rap other peoples lyrics, you can rap. The next step is to write your own.

Counting The Beat

Counting the beat is essential in all forms of music and rap is no different. If you can't count the beat, you can't stay in time with the music and the other musicians.

Most songs that are used in Hip Hop and other popular forms of music are counted in 4 time. In other words we count along 1,2,3,4 and then start the cycle again.
Sometimes the music is counted in 3 time, think of the 123,123, sound of the waltz.

We can also rap in a 123,123, way over a standard 4 count.

For an example of a 3 count track listen to Kanye West Spaceship.

A great way to start out practicing rap technqiue is to put a moderate tempo track on and count along to it,1 2 3 4. Some will find this easy; some will find it difficult, but with practice you will lock into the rhythm of every track you put on.

Then to add to this, try putting a word on each 4 count, for example 1,2,3, rap, 1,2,3, name.

Once you have done this, try putting a word on the four and then thinking of a rhyming word to go on the next four. See how long you can keep the rhyme going for. This will improve your ability to count to a track, your ability to put words to that count and your capacity to rhyme words. Try listening to different genres and see if the 4 count works, or if you think another count is needed.

Rhyme Patterns

There are an infnite number of rhyme patterns but there are also a core few that are commonly used. But what is a rhyme pattern? It is simply a way of constructing your rhymes in a song.

One of the most common rhyme patterns is called 'rhyming on the snare'. Think of the best as boom bap boom boom bap. The bap sound is the snare drum. Often it is on the 2 and the 4.So rhyming on the snare can often be thought of as rhyming on the two and on the four.

For example.

Kick Snare Kick Kick Snare
I am writing a rhyme
It sounds funky every time.

With the rhyming words 'rhyme' and 'time' on the snare or the four.

Another rap pattern is called internal rhyme. It simply means having rhymes inside each line rather than simply at the end of each line.

For example

Forgot monotony, I probably created a monopoly.
Its possibly the hottest beat and mixed in with philsophy.
This also uses multi syllabic rhymes: rhyming words with more than one syllable. this gives it a complex and sophisticated sound.
There are many other rhyme patterns and some are more common to diffferent genres.

Meter

Meter is all about the placing of syllables in lines to create different rhythms. To understand meter you need to understand word stress and syllables.

Lets start with syllables.

The word today has two syllables or 'sounds'. 'to day'.

The word tommorow has three syllables or sounds.

So what about stress? Word stress is something we do naturally. When we say a word we push down on a particular syllable. For example with the word 'photo' we push down on the 'pho' part of the word.

With the word 'beserk'. We push down on the 'serk' part of the word. So its beSERK and not BEserk. Another way to think about is to think that we are holding that sound a little longer. Say the two variations slowly pushing down on one sound and then the other.

The word address is interesting. In America they stress the ADD part of the word, ADD ress. In England we stress the 'ress' part of the word add RESS.

Meter is how we place words with different types of stress next to each other. There are four types of meter.

Iambic
This is an unstressed syllable followed by a stressed syllable, for example

i WRECK the MIC and RIP it HARD.

Trochaic

The first sound is stressed and the second is unstressed.Take for example famous poem.

TI ger TI ger BUR ning BRIGHT

IN the FOR est OF the Night.

To hear the difference between these two types of meter try repeating the word

'eject eject eject' over and over, Notice the feel of this and how it seems to lift at the end of each word.

Then repeat the word 'tiger tiger tiger'. Notice the feel of this and how it seems to drop at the end of each word.

These two types of meter can be applied to tracks to give them these different feels.

Dactlyic

This is a stressed syllable followed by two unstressed. The waltz has this feel. Try repeating the words 'rashers and sausages, rashers and sauages' and you will get this feel.

Anapestic Meter

This is the reverse of Dactylic so we have two unstressed syllables followed by a stressed. The rapper APL.D.AP uses this is the song 'like that' by the Black Eyed Peas (2.30 in)

Meter is an advanced technique and something you start to feel rather than over analyse but once mastered can give your rap rhythms a varied and interesting feel.

Phrasing is the way in which we use pauses in a rap, emphasise certain lines, or say things earlier or later than expected.

Phrasing

The best way to think about phrasing is to listen to Jazz solos. When does the saxophone player choose to pause in their solo, which bits do they speed up for, which bits do they slow down for.

One way to work on phrasing is to take a line from a song and practice saying certain words earlier or later, stretching out certain sounds or placing pauses in different places.

It might help to think of the idea of a joke. In a joke we place a pause before the punchline. This is a choice of phrasing. We constantly phrase throughout conversation, sometimes simply to accommodate breathing, at other times to create suspense, convey excitment or keep our listener engaged.

Freestyling

Freestyling is the ability to improvise rap lyrics, thinking of rhymes over the top of your head. The best freestylers engage with the environment around them, talking about what someone in the audience might be doing or an object in the room.

All freestylers have lines that they have stored in their heads ready to use when necessary. These 'fall back' lyrics give them something to fall back on while they think of the next thing to say. The more rhymes you know, the more lyrics you have stored and ready to use.

One of the best exeplars of freestyle rap is the rapper 'Supernatural'.

While freestling is a great way to impress, some of the best rappers can't freestyle and some of the best freestylers can't make a decent rap song, so it is not the be all and end all.

Freestlying is now also sometimes used as a term to denote something rapping a pre written verse over a track that they have just heard.

A good way to practice freestyling is to simply talk about your day or a topic you know well, along to a track. Then try emphasising whatever particular word you are on when you get to the four count. This will get you used to improving in a rhythmic way.

Another effective way of practicing is to start with an easy word to rhyme such as 'sea'. Then write a few basic lines. Learn them; rap them; and then try to add on other rhymes from the top of your head.

Wherever you choose to take your ability to rap is up to you, whether it be on a rap, rock, folk, or jazz track; or whether just to impress your friends.

New Reputation Of Rap Artists

In the past, hip hop and rap artists were seen in the ghettos or risky neighborhoods. They were in most cases linked to a gang who reside in the streets till they become used to the life of a gangster and then at some point forget about their well-being along with their beliefs. Almost all hip hop/rap artists during the early 1980's towards the end of 90's have been frequently part of a dysfunctional family, have not finished classes, utilized and also sold illegal drugs and has been charged no less than 2-3 times. These happened to be the typical characteristics of a hip hop/rap artist. Through the years the music business has transformed the hip hop/rap industry by delivering positive messages to youth via their songs and also the images that they portray.

The changes were in accordance with their modernized style. People have started employing technology intensely to make rap precisely what it is nowadays. It is a fact that the lyrics and the groove are the soul of the music but the beat certainly is the body structure and they're every bit as necessary in producing a remarkable rap performance. These kinds of beats are primarily produced by mouth, hands along with other classic methods to hip hop beat making. The truth is a number of these methods are seen to this day in the diverse styles from time to time.

Music is just not what rap is about, contrary to what most think. There is not another music genre on earth that travels as deep as hip hop does with all its followers. It is not about making a different dance move or perhaps that new club hit. Rap is mainly responsible for people from different status to come together and create a new way of life. There have been numerous rap artists who have made a mark for themselves in the realm of music. They have succeeded to take rap on the world charts of best music. The growing approval of the rap style of music has been consistent plus the strategies have been altered.

Currently young rap artists filter the actual lyrics of their music in order to avoid any kind of negative publicity to moms and dads, government, mass media as well as music business. At some point, hip hop performers express themselves through raging words about gangsters, illegal drugs, women and various other harmful publicity they show to the general public. They've got two types of music: Censor music for the younger supporters as well as radio station. The uncensored variation is going to be available for adult only. This is precisely what many rap artists do to protect the young enthusiasts.

Aside from censoring the lyrics, several hip hop and rap artists change their lyrics to cater to young kids. Young children generally appreciate hearing rap music while dancing. The cursed words are often substituted with constructive and also numerical words for the kids. Mothers and fathers can download or perhaps get the music on the internet by going to the correct website for kids rap music. You can discover preferred hip hop/rap artist such as Justin Beiber, Little Wayne, Lil Jon, 2 Pac, Ludacris and more. You can even listen to sample music on the music site.

Trey Songz ft Lil Wayne - Don't Love Me

Young Chris-The Revival

1.Intro
2.F# K the other side Feat Peedi Crakk
3.Lay low Feat Meek Mill & Freeway
4.So fly
5.D.O.A. To be sure, Frankie Knuckles, the DJ and producer who was most directly responsible for creating the house genre had more than a few titles under his belt. However, there are some other artists whose names are inextricably linked with the commercial growth of house. Let's take a look at some of the classic house tracks that helped define a generation of club goers.

1. Frankie Knuckles - The Whistle Song. Released in 1991, and helping to lead the surge of house music that was knocking on the door of mainstream chart success, this flute-based track was mellow, had a deep groove and was eminently danceable. All of the ingredients that would come to define house in the 90's were there - the bass line, the simple drum beat - providing the foundation for hundreds of house tracks to follow.

2. Mr. Fingers - Washing Machine. In 1986, Washing Machine was a revolutionary track that was one of the first to explore the possibilities of the 'acid' baseline, a twisting sound that would worm its way into the brains of partiers. The rhythm track was based off of an 808 drum machine, providing the groundwork for a lot of the experimental acid house that would become more prominent as time went on.

3. M/A/R/R/S - Pump Up The Volume. A list of classic house music wouldn't be complete without this entry from the production team of A R Kane and Colourbox. 'Pump Up The Volume' is most notable for its heavy use of sampling, and it was a pioneer in this respect. Cut onto vinyl in 1987, the track crossed over onto the mainstream charts and became one of the most recognizable classic house music tunes. It was also the only release from this one-off collaboration.

4. Technotronic - Pump Up The Jam. Completely unrelated to its namesake above, 'Pump Up The Jam' smashed through barriers in 1989 to become a huge pop hit. Combining a searing vocal with hard-hitting synth lines and an unbeatable bass track, Technotronic scored a number two spot on British charts and a Platinum record for the accompanying album in the United States. This was a huge accomplishment for house music and helped to legitimize the genre heading into the 1990's.

5. Madonna - Vogue. Ever the chameleon, pop star Madonna hitched her wagon to the rising house star and secured an enormous hit that further mainstreamed dance music. The song contained many of the drum and rhythm elements found in early classic house music, but it combined them with a more pop-oriented song structure and a dynamic, changing vocal. Interestingly, 'Vogue' was a soundtrack release meant to accompany the film 'Dick Tracy' in 1990.

Disco Gives Birth To House Music

Disco music gets a bad rap. People decry the genre as a plastic, soulless, producer-driven music fad that deserves scorn for being empty and unfulfilling. Many music fans were happy to see disco die in 1980, but the truth is that disco never passed on. It spawned a new generation of dance music that branched out and evolved into the global phenomenon known as house music. So how exactly did disco give birth to house music? Here's the story.

So a gay guy and a black dude walk into a warehouse....just kidding! Well, actually that's not too far off. Here's the short version.

* Larry Levan started spinning disco records together at those crazy Paradise Garage parties in New York.

* Soon after Disco Demolition Night (when white kids killed disco at a White Sox game), Chicago started developing a new, electronic, drum-machine happy sound.

* Frankie Kunckles brought his gay-friendly crate of thumping disco tracks to Chicago and the kids got into it. Stuff like "Let No Man Put Asunder" from First Choice rocked the Warehouse in 1983.

* Soulful, bangin' disco tracks collided with what-the-hell-sounding beats from Jesse Saunders, Farley Jackmaster Funk and a bunch of other DJs, remixers and record producer types in Chicago.

* All the kids wanted to buy the records that were playing at the Warehouse in Chicago, and after some abbreviating -- the house music label was born.

* In Detroit, Juan Atkins (/Cybotron), Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson originated a techno touch alongside the Chicago house music sound.

If you want to learn more, there's a video on it -- Pump Up the Volume. This documentary outlines the history of house music's muddied origins. From swinging disco tracks to squelching, experimental knob-turning, to the base kick of techno's first producers, this three-part video has it all.

Pump Up The Volume - History of House Music - Part 1

Part 1 starts with Larry Levan and the Paradise Garage and goes through the early house music scene in Chicago.

In Part 2, you can learn about how Brits got hold of the stuff and used their Northern Soul infrastructure and connections in Ibiza to club the music out to the Euro masses. Detroit's take on house also gets attention.

Part 3 takes you through some of the more recent house music scenes, you know -- all that splinter faction definition label stuff. Anything Goldie says is hilarious, and Armand Van Helden seems like a pretty chill dude.

Sure, these Google vids don't offer the best presentation. And yeah, some of the music you'll hear is a bit wack, but this documentary from 2001 is a bridge that connects the house music of today to the disco classics of yesteryear. Understanding the details of this evolution will give you a greater appreciation for the ever-evolving history of dance music.

Mixing House Music and Distinguishing the Breaks in the Music

When it comes to mixing house music it takes some experience of knowing how house music is created. This simply comes with listening to it over and over again. Most house music we listen to uses a 4/4 measure. That means for every measure there are four bars and for every bar there are four beats.

For example most house music starts on the one or the first kick drum sound. From there you would count 1, 2, 3, 4 in sync with the kick drum and then you would repeat the count again starting on 1. You do this one time and you just completed a bar. You do this four times and you just completed a measure. This is a good frame of reference in order to start.

5 quick and easy steps to begin mixing house music

1. Start mixing by using duplicate records. In other words get two of the same songs and try mixing. It is much easier to start with two of the same records rather than two different records.
2. When mixing two different records use the same or close to the same BPMs.
3. Use your favorite songs to mix when starting out.

4. Slow the tempo down if the song is too fast.
5. Mark the record with a piece of tape to indicate the beginning of the beat.

Think of house music as Hiphop music just a little faster. By slowing the house music down with your pitch adjustment on your turntable it will make mixing the music a little easier.

Why?

Because when the music is slower you brain has a chance to process the music easier which allows you to mix songs easier. Your ear will adapt to the slower tempo enabling you to match beats. If you were to try to mix house music for the first time at it is normal speed you could easily get frustrated because things could be going to fast for you.

Matching beats is probably the biggest hurdle to overcome when mixing any genre of music not just house music. A beat is equivalent to one kick of a kick drum. Being able to match beats doesn't start with house music it starts with a simple drum track. Just about any Hip Hop track that is about 90 BPM's with a simple 4 beat pattern will do.

Practice mixing with a pair of the same record trying to match beats. Always try to catch the beat on the "1" or the first drum kick at the beginning of the verse not the intro. On your right hand turntable cue the record at the beginning of the verse starting with the kick drum. You cue the record by placing your finger on the record at the point where you want the beat to come in. On your left hand turntable play the same record from the beginning.

The platter should still be spinning under the record. Why? Because when you release the record you want it to match beats with the song from the other turntable in time. If you press too hard on the record while cueing it, the song will drag and the song will not play in sync. One record will play behind the other and you'll get a weird echo effect or something worse.

When the song from the left hand turntable reaches the beginning of the verse (on the "1" or first kick drum) that is when you release the record from its cue point giving it a slight push so it does not drag. Continue to practice this method with your favorite records and you'll be mixing any type of music you can get your hands on not just house music.

New Hip Hop Songs - What You Look For In The Latest Rap Songs

The Hip Hop music world is most changing especially the new rap music generation is all determined and having a distinct flair of becoming mature genre. Interestingly the changes and distinctions that are being seen today are not an overnight change; some of rappers have really hit the market after quite a struggle. The most interesting factor here is that now the personally of artist, the performance is as vital to the whole package, as there are thousands of wannabes but only few stars. Here are some interesting new trends on Rap Music Scene.

Flo Rida feat David Gutta is the rap single which has become the voice of new age. The single is "Club Can't Handle Me". The visibility of pride, larger than life gestures can easily be found to be distinct mark of this collaboration.

Love is not always been the main theme of Rap music but Eminem made it one very strong statement "Love The Way You Lie". While one can't think it to be any ground breaking single in any regards, the sheer star power of Eminem and Rihanna has really made us think about them being the rap icons this season.

While the factor of attractiveness of the performer might not be directly associated with the sales of the singles, there are some artists that have been there for their personality and charisma. Kanye West has the distinct voice but more importantly the image that has given boost to the whole industry of man of certain age in Rap. His singles have been making weaves including the last one "Runway [Explicit]" for genuine reasons of being the right mix.

Pick the Best Hip Hop Workout DVD

There are many hip hop workout videos that are workouts effective for cardio, an over all body work out and more. But, come on, where would soul be without those women singers? Some of the biggest hits that brought R&B soul into the mainstream limelight, and stirred the biggest passions within the listeners, were from women. All women could relate to the troubled times of early soul female artist and the artist reflected these times from the Vietnam War to the mere struggles of a women in the world.

The early blues singer paved the way for all later female vocalists. Numerous R&B female artists have made a strong impact in the music industry and set the stage for many more such as Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner.

Aretha Franklin

What piece on the Great Women of Soul Music would be complete without the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin? Aretha Franklin (born March 25th, 1942) began her R&B Soul path as a child singing gospel music in her childhood church. She was considered a child prodigy. The influence of the gospel music she grew up singing was undoubtedly a prime influence on her later soul music career.

Ms Franklin has 20 number one rhythm and blues hits to her name. She is known as one of the most honored by the Grammy Awards, as well as being the recipient of a Living Legends Award, and a Lifetime Achievement Award. Aretha Franklin also belted out her sultry voice as recently as the inauguration of the 44th President of the United States of America - Barack Obama.

Tina Turner

Though she is known more recently as a soloist, Anna Marie Bullock (Tina Turner) is known yet another great soul performer, along with her ex-husband Ike Turner. While still in high school, Bullock would go with her sister to area nightclubs and through much prodding by her sister, Bullock auditioned for Ike Turner and became a part of Turner's R&B soul band as an occasional vocalist with the Kings of Rhythm at his club. This was the stepping-stone for Bullocks, at the age of 18, career in R&B. Bullock went on to marry Ike Turner and changed her name to Tina Turner.

Her first opportunity in mainstream Soul music came in 1960 when the singer scheduled to sing "A Fool in Love", "It's Gonna Work Out Fine", "I Idolize You", and the groundbreaking "River Deep, Mountain High" didn't show for the recording. Young Tina was chosen to record it instead. However, her most memorable hit was a cover of CCR's "Proud Mary."

Some other fantastic female R&B soul singers are Chaka Khan, Patti Labelle, Whitney Houston, Anita Baker, Patti Austin, Barbara Mason, Martha and The Vandellas, Denise Williams, and so many more. Many of these strong female artists started from simpler and harder lives yet through it all, they overcame all obstacles, prevailing with grace, and known now as some of the best female rhythm and blues vocalist to date.

Rap Music Beats

Rap has gained popularity in the music world, especially in western countries. The most important part of production is to select or create appealing rap music beats. The success of the song depends on the beat being used.

Rap music beats should be trendy and fresh, so that the audience will be attracted towards the music. The beat should also match well with the lyrics of the song, so that the lyrics could be heard clearly. Consider the purpose of the production before hand. For instance, if the song is composed for self-enjoyment or just for fun, the composer alone will be the judge of the beat. If the beat is composed for attracting an audience certain inventions should be included to keep the interest of the audience in mind.

Composing beats:

If a beginner in the music industry finds it difficult to create his own rap music beats, he can purchase beats available for sale from the internet. But, if the composer uses the purchased beat in his song, he will not be able to show his individuality in the song. So, composing your own rap music beats will be effective in showing the creativity of the new composer since the beat purchased by the composer might have been purchased by many others as a result of which the song will lack individuality.

Beat Software:

The composer makes his own rap music beats with the help of software programs available in the internet. Several websites offer the music production software. Some websites offer online production and some other websites offer to download software to your computer. Most programs allow the composer to create different tracks, so that the composer can select the best track that suits well with his rap music beats and lyrics.

Test run:

It is always better to test the quality of the music by showing your composition to an expert. If the expert is happy with the beat, you can take it to the audience. If the expert suggest some changes, these can be made accordingly and then taken to the bigger group of audience. The software programs will be of great use in making a test run.

Creating beats would be better rather than going for ready-made beats composed by other music composers to show originality and individuality in the music composed. So, create your own rap music beats. Good luck!

R&B Soul Music Legends

Some say that the only difference between the rhythm and blues (R&B) and gospel is with gospel you sing "Oh Lord," while with Rhythm and Blues soul music you sing "Oh Baby." Gospel music was the root beginnings of soul music however it is not merely the root that make R&B what it is today.

R& B soul music came to life as its own genre during the 50's. While its origins may have began around the northern cities of America like Chicago it wasn't long before other cities followed suit like Memphis, Detroit, New York, Florence, and Philadelphia.

Many artists throughout the years helped develop what is known as R&B soul music such as artist like Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Barry White, Luther Vandrose, James Brown, and Issac Hayes to mention just a few.

Soul music origin's came from the influence of gospel music and the more traditional R&B sounds. The R&B soul sound of Memphis was more influenced by the gospel mix in cities like Memphis, than was the rhythm and blues soul of Detroit, which came up to become the smooth, polished sounds of Motown by artist such as Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, and Marvin Gaye.

If were to have to pick the top ten all time best R&B Soul artists one would be hard pressed to limit the list to ten. You could take into consideration the artists contributions to the music industry, however, most R&B artists have contributed in one fashion or another.

Early top soul artists would have to include Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Sam Cooke, and Elvis. Then as soul music took on a bit more groove to it and became known more by Motown/Soul in the late 60's and 70's you would have to add artists names such as Nina Simone, Jackie Wilson, Etta James, Ray Charles, Little Richard, and James Brown.

However, that leaves out a lot of influential R&B soul artists that have contributed so much to the still existing sound of rare soul music found in may of the more current soundtracks of today's artists like Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Al Green, Gladys Knight, Chaka Kahn, Brian McKnight, Kenny G, and R. Kelly. The list could go on forever, as I am sure many of you are aware. That is not even mentioning the soul artist groups that helped to keep the love alive. There is something about some good old rare soul music that will never leave you, and always have you wanting more.

Rap Music Instrumental

A rap music instrumental does more for a rap artist's vocals than one may think. There was a time in the past where the genre of rap was more focused on the lyrics. However, in the current generation of rap, the rap instrumental can be just as important to the song as the rapper's voice and lyrics.

Some would eve say that the artists of today lack strong lyrical content, and rely heavily on the rap music instrumental, too much in many cases.

Sometimes, a rapper who actually has lyrical skill will purposely rap over a 'not so hot' rap music instrumental in order to showcase their lyrics. However, this may not always be the best move, because if the beat is not up to par, then listener's of today's rap may automatically and quickly tune it out.

So if you are a rapper who desires to showcase your lyrical content, you should still consider searching for the right rap music instrumental that will enhance your lyrics and song. Music should be a full composition in which all parts are contributing to each other, and not taking away from each other.

Music is an art form, just as painting is. Painting relies on the right colors in harmony with each other, and your rap songs should take the same approach. The beat relies on the lyrics, which rely on the voice, and it should all tie together in harmony to create an amazing musical picture.

So focus on picking the right rap music instrumental just as you would focus on selecting the right word or lyric to use in your verses.

Top Rap Songs

The best places to find the top rap songs of the moment are the weekly Billboard and Itunes charts. Billboard uses the airplay measurements of Nielson BDS to determine the most popular rap songs, while websites such as Ontheradio and Doipod keep track of the rap artists downloaded most frequently on iTunes. Retail websites such as Amazon also have music charts listing top selling artists by genre. Currently, these charts are dominated by Drake, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Flo Rida, Kanye West and B.o.B. The following rap hits appear at the top of multiple music charts and currently receive the most radio airplay and generate significant sales of albums and singles.

Love the Way You Lie
Eminem Featuring Rihanna

Currently the number one rap song on the Billboard Rap Charts, "Love the Way You Lie" holds a variety of impressive rankings on other music charts, including the following:

-#1 on AOL Radio
-#2 on Yahoo Video
-#3 on the Billboard Hot 100
-#4 on American Top 40
-#6 on MySpace Songs
-#6 in iTunes sales

The song is also ranked by Billboard as the most downloaded ringtone at the moment. This is one of few rap or hip hop songs to achieve popularity outside of the genre, likely a result of Rihanna's collaboration with Eminem. Together, the two artists have achieved popularity across multiple genres, a feat not easily accomplished.

Fancy
Drake Featuring T.I. & Swizz Beatz

Unlike Eminem's current hit, Fancy is clearly preferred by the rap and hip hop community. Still, its ranking at 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 is impressive for an artist with such a short chart history. Until this summer, only one of Drake's rap songs called "Forever" found success, and even this was due to the featured artists Eminem, Lil Wayne and Kanye West. Currently, Drake takes second place to Eminem on the Billboard Top Rap Songs. He also ranks third with "Miss Me" Featuring Lil Wayne and has several other rap songs featured on various music charts.

Like a G6
Far*East Movement Featuring Cataracs & Dev

Despite its ranking of eighth place on the Billboard Rap Chart, "Like a G6" is worthier of attention than higher ranked songs, due to its astronomical rise in popularity. Currently ranked second on Billboard's Digital Songs Chart and sixth on the Billboard Hot 100, "Like a G6" recently jumped up from 13th place on the Billboard Rap Chart and was named the "Greatest Gainer" of the week. These rankings are especially impressive, considering that the song has only been on the charts for a measly four weeks and the artist, Far*East Movement, is a relatively new face in the music community. Chances are, "Like a G6" will hit the top spot on the Hot 100 and the Billboard Top Rap Songs in the near future.

Christian Rap Music

Rap music is equally and popularly known as hip-hop music. It is a music genre that had its beginnings in New York during the mid-70s. It was popular among the performers in the City, particularly among the African-Americans and Hispanic musicians.

Christian rap music is likewise known by its other names like Christian hip-hop, holy hip-hop and gospel rap. Having attached the word 'Christian' to distinguish this type of music, Christian rap utilizes lyrics that express the message of Christian faith by the composer or songwriter. However, there are some artists who make their Christian faith known, but the themes of their songs do not contain such religious belief.

From its inception, Christian churches have considered Christian rap or hip-hop music blasphemous. Given its marked difference in sounds and beat from the traditional gospel music, it is also referred to as the 'devil's' music. With changing times, however, Christian rap or hip-hop artists have found their way to mainstream music and have found acceptance from the public.

Similar to Christian music, the purpose of Christian rap or hip-hop music is to reach not only there desired audience of Christians, but to reach out to non-believers who listen to the music. Most of the performers are self-proclaimed Christians who use their music to teach their religion. Christian rap or hip-hop music can be likened to an art that is a form of expression. Over the years, this art has been accepted by several communities that has adopted rap- themed songs in their places of worship.

At present, there are a number of Christian rap artists that have gained prominence through their music. Christian rap or hip-hop music is an effective way of reaching out and touching the lives of people who are into this kind of music.

The History Of Rap Music

These days, rap music is such a significant part of popular culture that it is difficult to imagine that there was ever a time without it. However, the truth is that rap has only been in the mainstream music market for just over thirty years. The tradition, though, goes back much farther and this genre of music actually has quite a rich history.

The origins of rap are attributed to a few different sources, most of which center on the African culture. One popularly believed theory is that it grew from West African tribes who had a great deal of respect for "men of words." Another is that rap music came from Jamaican fold tales, which were essentially stories told in rhyme.

When rap music finally made its way over to America, it first became popular on the streets and in school yards. Early raps mostly focused on rappers boasting about their skills and cutting down other rappers. Watching these rap battles became a popular form of entertainment at many neighborhood parties.

Rap music stayed on the streets and did not begin to make its way into popular culture until 1979. This was the year that Sugar Hill Gang released their single, Rapper's Delight. The song was such a huge success that the music industry had no choice but to sit up and take notice, leading to the huge rap industry that we are familiar with today.

These days, rap music is one of the most popular genres on the radio, in clubs and on television, but it did not start out that way. The music finds its origins in a number of places, including African tribal traditions and Jamaican folk tales. After spending years being developed on city streets, rap music has finally taken its rightful place as one of the most popular and dynamic forms of music around.

NEW SITE HAS BEEN LAUNCHED !!!! - http://www.newhiphoprbrapmusic.com/

VISIT MY NEW SITE TO GET ALL THE LATEST HIPHOP UPDATES

http://www.newhiphoprbrapmusic.com/
http://www.newhiphoprbrapmusic.com/
http://www.newhiphoprbrapmusic.com/
http://www.newhiphoprbrapmusic.com/
http://www.newhiphoprbrapmusic.com/

BOOKMARK THE NEW SITE (CTRL+D)

Old School Rap Music is the Best

Rap music has come a long way since the late seventies and so have the artists that rap. The latest generation of rap music fans wouldn't believe how rap used to sound and why they would think it is the best if they heard it. Some of the greatest rappers were the first ones on the rap and hip hop scene. Old school rap music is the best rap of all because it set the ground work for some of the coolest sounds the music industry has ever known.

Where can you get the old sounds of rap from? Finding these tracks at the local music may be impossible unless you put in a special order. The best place to get all the old school rap music you can stand is on the Internet. There are a lot of reputable and trustworthy websites that specialize in nothing but the first rap music ever. Some of these sites will let you have free plays before you decide to pay your membership fee.

If you are in the generation of rockers that was hooked the first time you ever heard the Sugarhill Gang belt out the first ever rap hit, 'Rapper's Delight', then you know the memories these songs are going to bring back. Download them now for going back in time to the skating rink when you felt like were floating to the bet on your skates. 'Rapper's Delight' is just one of the first and best of the old school rap hits that you will be able to find online.

How about Tone Loc or Whodini? These are some rappers that set footprints into the cement of rap history. You will go back in time listening to these old school rap music sounds. Finding the best websites to download them from is easy.

Make sure to have some blank CD's ready to burn because you are going to want to play these in your car. Remember that feeling when you stopped at the red light when the cruising days were popular in the 80's? Those were certainly good times.

The old school rappers had no idea the road they were paving for future musicians. These days, rap music holds a place in line every year at the Grammy Awards and many rappers are in the forefront of many musical achievements.

Rap and Hip Hop Beats Are a Revolution in Music

It is crazy how many people are out there trying to make it in the music industry. It is a billion dollar industry now a days but it's much more of a different situation compared to what it was just 10 years ago. There's been a digital revolution it's not all about making physical copy's any more everything is digital.

That can be both a good thing and a bad thing for artist. I mean back in the day the artist could make so much more from physical sales since that was the only way for fans to get new music. Now you can download almost anything for free. This makes it better for the fans. You have to create something of quality and meaning for a fan to purchase your music or even be interested in you.

So the revolution begins what will you do to make you voice heard. I mean don't you want to leave your mark, or make a meaning out of your life, I know I do. I really wish more people were like me and had the same ambitions and goals. I have my own website and a few CDs made, now I'm ready to put it out there for the world.

I only spent about a year making the music and finding instrumentals. I only spent a week to make a website. Now I'm ready to see what I can really do. If you want the best rap or hip-hop beats you need to go online. Times are different don't spend $100 or even $1000 when you can spend less than $100 for 1000s of beats.

Even if you want to make your own rap or hip beats you can use software online without even having to download anything to your computer. Just think you could make beats or instrumentals at your friends or grandmas or even school all without having to download software to the computer!

Then on top of all of that you can sell your beats online. This is a great way to make money. I mean it's a fun and enjoyable way to make a decent income. You can make money online if you make beats. You don't have to be Dr Dre or Kanye West to create something new good and original. There are plenty of informational website out there that will explain everything you may need or answer any question you may have. Or if you have a question that can't be answered there are communities of millions of users that can answer your question in forum posting. This is also a great way to get noticed and meet new people.

So I'm looking to meet new people I think there are limitless ways and possibilities that people can work together on anything from creating music to inventing a new product or even idea. Time is limitless so what we can create is limitless as well. Check out my website for rap or hip hop beats online, make rap or hip hop beats, and even sell rap or hip hop beats.

The History of Rap and Hip Hop Music

The origin of hip-hop can be traced back as far as the ancient tribes in Africa. Rap has been compared with the chants, drumbeats and foot-stomping African tribes performed before wars, the births of babies, and the deaths of kings and elders. Historians have reached further back than the accepted origins of hip-hop. It was born as we know it today in the Bronx, cradled and nurtured by the youth in the low-income areas of New York City.

Fast-forward from the tribes of Africa to the ghettos of Kingston, Jamaica in the late sixties. The impoverished of Kingston gathered together in groups to form DJ conglomerates. They spun roots and culture records and communicated with the audience over the music. At the time, the DJ's comments weren't as important as the quality of the sound system and its ability to get the crowd moving. Kool Herc grew up in this community before he moved to the Bronx.

During the late sixties, reggae wasn't popular with New Yorkers. As a DJ, Kool Herc spun rhythm and blues records to please his party crowd. But, he had to add his personal touch. During the breaks, Herc began to speak to his audience as he had learned to do in Jamaica. He called out, the audience responded, and then he pumped the volume back up on the record. This call and response technique was nothing new to this community who'd been reared in Baptist and Methodist churches where call and response was a technique used by the speakers to get the congregation involved. Historians compare it to the call and response performed by Jazz musicians and was very much a part of the culture of Jazz music during the renaissance in Harlem.

Herc's DJ style caught on. His party's grew in popularity. He began to buy multiple copies of the same albums. When he performed his duties as a DJ, he extended the breaks by using multiple copies of the same records. He chatted, as it is called in dance hall, with his audience for longer and longer periods.

Others copied Herc's style. Soon a friendly battle ensued between New York DJs. They all learned the technique of using break beats. Herc stepped up the game by giving shout-outs to people who were in attendance at the parties and coming up with his signature call and response. Other DJs responded by rhyming with their words when they spoke to the audience. More and more DJs used two and four line rhymes and anecdotes to get their audiences involved and hyped at these parties.

One day, Herc passed the microphone over to two of his friends. He took care of the turn table and allowed his buddies to keep the crowd hyped with chants, rhymes and anecdotes while he extended the breaks of different songs indefinitely. This was the birth of rap as we know it.

Hip-hop has evolved from the days of the basement showdowns to big business in the music industry. In the seventies and eighties, the pioneers and innovators of the rap record was the DJ. He was the guy who used his turntable to create fresh sounds with old records. Then, he became the guy who mixed these familiar breaks with synthesizers to produce completely new beats. Not much has changed in that aspect of hip-hop. The guy who creates the beat is still the heart of the track. Now, we call him the producer. Even though some DJs work as producers as well as DJs (quite a few start out as DJs before they become producers), today's title "DJ" doesn't carry the same connotative meaning it did in the eighties. Today's hip-hop producer performs the same tasks as the eighty's DJ.

Would you like to learn how to make rap beats and hip hop beats? You can with our free beat making tutorials. We walk you through what software you need, how to setup a beat and much more. It managed to fulfill the needs and wants of music lovers of different races and cultures in ways no one could have anticipated and became responsible for the entire electronic-based music explosion throughout the world.

Since its birth in 1970s to this date, so many styles have emerged. The electronic synthesizers, drum machines and sequencers had all contributed heavily to the emerge of these styles. There are many sub-styles of those genres in today's popular music.

Today it means much more than just music, rap and dance. It is culture, philosophy, partying, knowledge, dancing, rapping and more. It is a lifestyle, where you can experience a journey to everything with passion.

The core elements of hip hop are MC-ing, DJ-ing along with beakdancing and graffiti which are constantly being merged with the culture, slang and clothing trends.

People often use rap and hip hop interchangeably. All rap is considered to be hip-hop but the vice versa isn't true. Because rap is something we do, whereas hip-hop is something we live. They differ in three main features; musical attributes, culture and community message.

Rap includes some poetic lyric, beats and their rhyming with subjects varying from relationships to commercialism. Anything depicts the street life can be found in rappers themes such as love, violence, crime, race, social and political issues.

Rapping, which is a medium of vocal application of between talking and singing is an important element of hip hop music. Any subject is good for rap beats; in other words, there are infinite number of subjects can be selected as topics of rap music.

People, money, cars, love and hate or anything else can be a subject for rapping about. People who write rap songs use things that interest them; the favorite things they like to do, favorite sports, car, song, etc. Any person or object at any place can be a good subject for a rap song.

In short, since this new music is a way of communication and expressing feelings then the writer of the song is completely free in communication what he or she wants with the outside. This richness of feelings which can be found everywhere around the world can be the reason of the rising popularity of hip hop music culture all around the world.

LADY GAGA BORN THIS WAY

Code:

1.
